Pertukekem

Pertukekem is an easy to use Bible app custom built for the Sorani translation.

This includes the audio for the entire Bible. This scrolls along phrase-by-phrase so is good for people with low literacy (or for those learning Kurdish). The audio and text are also on the website which is more useful for a computer. This also works as Progressive Web App (PWA) and can be saved to your computer or phone’s desktop/homescreen.

The app also contains English (NIV), Farsi (Persian) and Arabic which can be read side-by-side with the Kurdish.

It is available for both Android and iOS. Some people with Huawei devices are unable to download and install Pertukekem from the Google Play Store. If that is the case you can download the app directly from the Pertukekem website’s download page or simply clicking here.

For those in a sensitive situation we have an app that can be kept on a phone (again Android only) which looks like and opens like a non-Bible app. The Bible content can only be accessed with a code. Please contact us via the form on this page for more information.
