“Death and Resurrection” in Kurdish-Kurmanji begins with the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, reports on cleaning the temple, washing the feet and the sacrament; then it is about Jesus’ death and resurrection: Jesus in Gethsemane, the questioning of Pilate, his crucifixion, the women at the grave and his first meeting with the disciples, especially with Thomas after his resurrection. After Peter’s fishing trip and ascension, the eleven disciples went to Jerusalem.
A continuous narrative of what happened before his death and after his resurrection. Very good for children – and not just for children – the connections to understand his death on the cross.
We recommend giving this beautifully illustrated book to Kurdish families for Easter.
